Every business purchase has the potential to deliver more. The Business Platinum Card® from American Express is now refreshed with even more ways to reward how you work, offering newly expanded benefits and features tailored to how business owners spend.1

Earn more points across categories where you do business

With the right Card in hand, your business purchases can become a powerful engine for earning. The Business Platinum Card® offers points on key business purchase categories designed to reflect how you spend.

      • 5X points on flights and prepaid hotels booked through AmexTravel.com.3
      • 2X points on key business categories that qualify for Membership Rewards® points, like U.S. construction material and hardware suppliers, U.S. electronic goods retailers and software & cloud system providers, and U.S. shipping providers. You’ll also earn 2X points on each eligible purchase of $5,000 or more (up to $2 million of these purchases per calendar year).*4
*Purchases eligible for multiple additional point bonuses will only receive the highest eligible bonus.
      • 1X points on other eligible purchases.4

Benefits of Amex Business Platinum that fit your spending habits

The Business Platinum Card® is also designed to flex with your spending needs. These key features can help you manage, and maximize, your business expenses:

      • No Preset Spending Limit: The amount you can spend adapts based on factors such as your purchase, payment, and credit history. The more you use your Card and regularly make payments, the more your spending power could grow.5
      • Check Spending Power: Use this tool to find out if an expected purchase or spend amount will be approved. Approval based on account status at time of request.
      • Pay Over Time: The Pay Over Time feature lets you carry a balance with interest on eligible charges, up to your Pay Over Time Limit.6 Here’s how it works:
        • Eligible charges will be automatically added to a Pay Over Time balance, up to the Pay Over Time Limit.
        • You can choose to pay for these charges over time with interest, or you can pay your full balance each month, whichever is best for your business.
        • You must pay in full any charge or a portion of a charge that is not added to a Pay Over Time balance.

Pro tip: To see how your spending can unlock even more value, check out our additional guide here.

You will get 4 additional points (for a total of 5 points) for each dollar spent on eligible travel purchases. Eligible travel purchases include scheduled flights made online at AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™ and prepaid short-term rentals made online at AmexTravel.com, minus returns and other credits. Additionally, eligible travel purchases include prepaid hotel purchases made through American Express Travel; (by calling 1-800-525-3355, or through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™), minus returns and other credits. Eligible travel purchases do NOT include non-prepaid hotel bookings, scheduled flights and prepaid flight and hotel packages over the phone, vacation packages, car rentals, cruise, hotel group reservations or events, ticketing service, cancellation or other fees, interest charges, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, or purchases of other cash equivalents. To be eligible for the 5X Membership Rewards® points, you must both reserve and charge the travel purchase with the same eligible Business Platinum Card®. Dates of a prepaid short-term rental booking on AmexTravel.com cannot be modified. Card Members must cancel their short-term rental booking and make a new booking through AmexTravel.com; in which case, the new booking will be subject to availability, any cancellation policies and fees, any increase in the nightly rates or other fees, and any other applicable policies or fees of the vacation rental management company. To modify a hotel or air reservation you must cancel and rebook your reservation. You can cancel and rebook your reservation on AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™ or by calling a representative of AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™ at 1-800-297-2977. Cancellations are subject to hotel cancellation penalty policies. If hotel reservations are made or modified directly with the hotel provider, the reservation will not be eligible for this 5X Membership Rewards® point benefit. To be eligible to receive extra points, Card account(s) must not be cancelled or past due at the time of extra points fulfillment. If booking is cancelled, the extra points will be deducted from the Membership Rewards account. Extra points will be credited to the Membership Rewards account approximately 6-10 weeks after eligible purchases appear on the billing statement. Additional point bonuses you may receive with your Card on other purchase categories from American Express may not be combined with this benefit (e.g., 2X bonuses for Business Platinum Card Members, etc.). Purchases eligible for multiple additional point bonuses will only receive the highest eligible bonus. The benefits associated with the Additional Card(s) you choose may be different than the benefits associated with your basic Card. To learn about the benefits associated with Additional Card(s) you choose, please call the number on the back of your Card.

Merchants are assigned codes based on what they primarily sell. We group certain merchant codes into categories that are eligible for additional points. A purchase with a merchant will not earn additional points if the merchant’s code is not included in an additional points category. You may not receive additional points if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify your purchase as eligible for an additional points category. For example, you may not receive additional points when: a merchant uses a third-party to sell their products or services; or a merchant uses a third-party to process or submit your transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers); or you choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet.

Please visit americanexpress.com/rewards-info for more information about rewards.

      4 2X Membership Rewards® Points
You get 2X Membership Rewards® points per dollar on up to two million dollars ($2,000,000) of eligible purchases on your Card Account per calendar year, made in any of the following categories: (1) U.S. construction material and hardware suppliers, (2) U.S. electronic goods retailers and software & cloud system providers, (3) at U.S. shipping providers, or (4) eligible purchases of $5,000 or more. Purchases eligible for multiple categories will only receive 2X points for one category. For example, a single eligible purchase made within one of the aforementioned categories that is also $5,000 or more will only receive a total of 2X points per dollar. Additional point bonuses you may receive with your Card on other purchase categories from American Express may not be combined with this benefit (e.g., 5X bonuses for Business Platinum Card Members, etc.). Purchases eligible for multiple additional point bonuses will only receive the highest eligible bonus. For example, for a single eligible purchase of $10,000 on a scheduled flight made online at AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™ that would otherwise qualify for 2X points and 5X points, will earn a total of 50,000 points, or 5X points per dollar, because 5X points is the highest eligible bonus. For additional information please visit https://www.americanexpress.com/us/rewards-info/business.html.

You will not get the extra points associated with this benefit if American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as eligible for the benefit. For example, a purchase transaction of $5,000 or more will not qualify if the merchant divides the purchase into transactions of less than $5,000 before providing the information to American Express. Airlines, hotels, retailers, aggregators, and online marketplaces are a few examples of merchants that may divide purchases into smaller transactions. Transactions may be divided by date of availability, shipping date, ticket, or reservation, among other things.

Eligible purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, purchases of other cash equivalents, or purchases covered by points or other rewards at point of sale.  To be eligible to receive extra points, Card account(s) must not be cancelled or past due at the time of fulfillment. You will typically receive the extra Membership Rewards points 8-12 weeks after the billing period in which you make the eligible purchase.

Merchants are assigned codes based on what they primarily sell. A purchase will not earn additional points if the merchant's code is not eligible. Purchases made through a third-party payment account or on an online marketplace (with multiple retailers) will not earn additional points. A purchase may not earn additional points if the merchant submits the purchase using a mobile or wireless card reader or if you use a mobile or digital wallet.

Membership Rewards-enrolled Card Members get at least 1 Membership Rewards® point for every eligible dollar spent on their Membership Rewards program-enrolled American Express® Card. Those same Card Members will also get at least 1 additional point for each dollar of eligible travel purchases made on AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™ on their Membership Rewards program-enrolled American Express Card. Corporate Card Members are not eligible for the additional point. Eligible travel purchases include all travel purchases made with your Membership Rewards program-enrolled American Express® Card, including air, prepaid hotels, and prepaid car rentals through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App™, as well as prepaid short-terms rentals (booked by eligible Card Members) and cruises booked and paid through AmexTravel.com, minus returns and other credits. Platinum and Business Platinum Card Members are only eligible for 1 additional point on cruise reservations. Eligible travel purchases do NOT include non-prepaid car rentals, non-prepaid hotels, ticketing service or other fees, or interest charges. Additional point bonuses you may receive with your Card on other purchase categories from American Express may not be combined with this offer (e.g., 5X bonuses for Platinum and Business Platinum Card Members, 3X bonuses for Business Gold Card Members, 2X bonus on your first $50,000 in purchases for Blue Business Plus Card Members, 2X bonuses on key business categories and eligible purchases of $5,000 or more for Business Platinum Card Members, or 1.5X bonuses for Business Centurion Card Members, etc.). Any portion of a charge that you elect to cover through redemption of Membership Rewards points is not eligible to receive points. Additional points will be credited to the Membership Rewards account 10-12 weeks after final payment is made.

      5 No Preset Spending Limit
No Preset Spending Limit means the spending limit is flexible. Unlike a traditional card with a set limit, the amount you can spend adapts based on factors such as your purchase, payment, and credit history.

      6 Pay Over Time Option
Eligible Charges: Eligible charges made by you or any Additional Card Member on your account can be paid over time. The following types of charges are ineligible for Pay Over Time: American Express® Travelers Cheques and other cash equivalents, certain insurance premiums, casino and other gambling transactions, any fees owed to American Express except foreign transaction fees, and other transactions designated by us. In addition, statement credits for eligible purchases, or any reversals of a statement credit, may be applied to either your Pay Over Time balance or Pay In Full balance regardless of where the eligible purchases originally posted. Any charge subject to a foreign transaction fee is not eligible to be moved to Pay Over Time on your Closing Date.

Pay Over Time Settings: Pay Over Time on your account is initially set to On. There are two settings, On and Off. When set to On, eligible charges will be automatically placed in your Pay Over Time balance, up to your Pay Over Time Limit. When set to Off, no new charges will be included in your Pay Over Time balance. You can change this setting by visiting your online account or calling the number on the back of your Card.

Interest on your Pay Over Time balance: For charges added automatically to a Pay Over Time balance, at the time they post to your account, we charge interest beginning on the date of each charge.  For charges that we automatically move from your Pay in Full balance to your Pay Over Time balance on your Closing Date, we charge interest from the day after they are added to your Pay Over Time balance. We will not charge interest on charges automatically added to your Pay Over Time balance if you pay your account Total New Balance by the Payment Due Date each month. If at the time you turn on Pay Over Time, you’re already carrying a Pay Over Time balance from your last billing period, we will charge interest on new eligible charges added to a Pay Over Time balance from the transaction date. However, for charges that we move from your Pay In Full balance to your Pay Over Time balance on your Closing Date, we will charge interest from the day after they are added to your Pay Over Time balance. You must pay in full, by the Payment Due Date, any charge or portion of a charge that is not added to a Pay Over Time balance.

Pay Over Time Limit: We assign a Pay Over Time Limit to your Account. Your Pay Over Time Limit is the maximum amount you may carry as a balance. We may increase or decrease the amount of your Pay Over Time Limit and will tell you if we change that amount. Your Pay Over Time Limit may be different than the total amount you are allowed to spend on your Card. You must pay at least the Minimum Payment Due by the Payment Due Date each month to keep your account in good standing. The Minimum Payment Due includes all Pay in Full charges, any interest accrued on your account and a portion of your Pay Over Time balance.

No Preset Spending Limit: No Preset Spending Limit means your spending limit is flexible. Unlike a traditional Card with a set limit, the amount you can spend adjusts based on factors such as your purchase, payment, and credit history.

      7 35% Airline Bonus
To use Pay with Points, you must charge your eligible airfare purchase through American Express Travel to a Membership Rewards® program-enrolled American Express® Card. Points will be debited from your Membership Rewards account, and credit for corresponding dollar amount will be issued to the American Express Card account used. If points redeemed do not cover entire amount, the balance of purchase price will remain on the American Express Card account. Points must be used at the time of booking. Pay with Points requires a minimum redemption of 5,000 points.

Business Platinum Card Members can receive 3.5 points back for every 10 points they redeem for flights with their selected qualifying airline using Membership Rewards Pay with Points through American Express Travel (35% Airline Bonus), up to 1,000,000 points back per calendar year limit, per each Membership Rewards Account. Points received through the 35% Airline Bonus are subject to a limit as of the date on which the redemption occurred.

Card Member must select a qualifying airline at https://global.americanexpress.com/card-benefits/enroll/airline-bonus/business-platinum. Qualifying airlines are subject to change. Only the Basic Card Member or Authorized Account Manager(s) on the Card Account can select the qualifying airline. The airline you select for the 35% Airline Bonus and the $200 Airline Fee Credit must be the same. Card Members who have not chosen a qualifying airline will be able to do so at any time. Card Members who have already selected a qualifying airline will be able to change their choice one time each year in January at https://global.americanexpress.com/card-benefits/enroll/airline-fee-credit/business-platinum or by calling the number on the back of their Card. Card Members who do not change their airline selection will remain with their current qualifying airline.

If you select Spirit Airlines or Southwest Airlines to receive your 35% Airline Bonus you must call Business Platinum Travel Service at 1-800-553-9497 to book. A flight booked as part of a travel package is not eligible for the 35% Airline Bonus. In addition, to be eligible to earn points back through the 35% Airline Bonus, Card account(s) must not be cancelled or past due at the time of fulfillment. If a booking is cancelled, the points received through the 35% Airline Bonus will be deducted from your Membership Rewards account. Points received through the 35% Airline Bonus will be credited to your Membership Rewards account approximately 6-10 weeks after eligible airfare purchases appear on your billing statement. See membershiprewards.com/terms for Membership Rewards program terms and conditions.

8 We are currently accepting applications from eligible U.S. businesses. Not all applicants will be approved for a Business Checking account. To learn more about Business Checking, including eligibility, visit https://www.americanexpress.com/en-us/business/checking/.

9 Membership Rewards® Program - Redeem for Deposits

If you have a Business Platinum Card® and an American Express Business Checking Account linked to the same Membership Rewards Account, you can redeem points for a deposit at a rate of 1000 points for $10 for up to 1,000,000 points per calendar year, after which you may continue to redeem points at the standard rate. There is no minimum number of points needed to use Redeem for Deposits. American Express will deduct the number of points you select from your Membership Rewards Account and deposit a corresponding dollar amount into your checking account. Generally, deposits will post to your account within 48 hours of redemption. For more information, visit membershiprewards.com/terms.

      Delta Sky Club®
This benefit is available to U.S. Business Platinum Members and Additional Platinum Card Members on the Account (each, an “Eligible Platinum Card Member”). Companion Platinum Cards on Consumer Platinum Accounts and Additional Gold and Additional Business Expense Cards on Business Platinum Accounts are not eligible for the Delta Sky Club benefit.

Eligible Platinum Card Members will receive 10 "Visits" per Eligible Platinum Card each year to Delta Sky Club or to the Delta Sky Club Grab and Go feature (“Grab and Go”). Visits are issued at Card Account opening and then on February 1 of each subsequent year and expire on January 31 of each year. Visits are non-transferable and may only be used by the Eligible Platinum Card Member.

A “Visit” is an entry to one or more Delta Sky Clubs or usage of Grab and Go, at one or more airports, for a period of up to 24 hours starting upon the first Delta Sky Club entry or Grab and Go usage, during an Eligible Platinum Card Member’s travel on a same-day Delta-operated flight or Delta-marketed flight operated by WestJet (ticket number starting with 006). Eligible Platinum Card Members traveling with Delta Main Basic (Basic Economy) fare tickets do not have access to this benefit. A single Visit permits usage of Delta Sky Club(s) in multiple airports during the 24-hour period. For example, if you visit a Delta Sky Club in different airports on a trip, entry into one or more of these Clubs will be considered part of the same Visit as long as these additional entries occur within 24 hours of the first Delta Sky Club entry. If travel exceeds 24 hours from the first Delta Sky Club, then a second Visit will be deducted if entering the Delta Sky Club or using Grab and Go more than 24 hours after the first entry. Eligible Platinum Card Members may not access Delta Sky Club or Grab and Go in the three hours from the time of previous Grab and Go usage at the same airport. Once all 10 Visits have been used, Eligible Platinum Card Members may purchase additional Delta Sky Club Visits at a per-Visit rate of $50 per person or may purchase a Grab and Go Visit at a per-Visit rate of $25 per person. Visits cannot be used for guest entry. During a Visit, Eligible Platinum Card Members may bring either up to two (2) guests, or their immediate family (spouse/domestic partner and children under 21) to the Club at a per-Visit rate of $50 per person or may purchase a Grab and Go Visit at a per-Visit rate of $25 per person. The Eligible Platinum Card must be used as the payment method to purchase Card Member and guest access. Guests must also be flying on a same-day Delta-operated flight or Delta-marketed flight operated by WestJet (ticket number starting with 006) and be accompanied by the Eligible Platinum Card Member. Guests traveling with Delta Main Basic (Basic Economy) tickets do not have access to this benefit. Children under 2 years of age may accompany the Eligible Platinum Card Member for free.

Eligible Platinum Card Members with multiple eligible American Express Cards that grant Delta Sky Club access are responsible for selecting their method of entry into a Delta Sky Club prior to entry. Visits will be deducted based on the eligible American Express Card presented at time of entry. Switching the American Express Card used for entry after a Card Member has entered a Delta Sky Club is not permitted.

To earn an unlimited number of Visits (“Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access”) the total eligible purchases on the Eligible Platinum Card Account must equal or exceed $75,000 (the “Purchase Requirement”) in each calendar year. Once effective, Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access will be provided to all Eligible Platinum Card Members on the Account. Companion Platinum Cards on Consumer Platinum Accounts and Additional Gold and Additional Business Expense Cards on Business Platinum Accounts are not eligible for the Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access benefit. All entry requirements set forth in these Terms and Conditions will continue to apply with respect to Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access.

Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access will be processed within a week of the Eligible Platinum Card Account’s satisfying the Purchase Requirement in most instances but may take up to 12 weeks to become effective. Once effective, Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access will be available for the remainder of the calendar year in which it became effective, the following calendar year and through January 31 of the next calendar year (for example, if Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access becomes effective on May 1, 2025, it will remain effective through January 31, 2027). Eligible purchases made by any Additional Card Members on the Eligible Platinum Card Account will contribute to the Purchase Requirement. Eligible purchases to meet the Purchase Requirement are for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees, interest charges, cash advances, purchases of travelers’ checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, or other cash equivalents. If a Card Member upgrades or downgrades from a different American Express Card to an Eligible Platinum Card, eligible purchases made on the prior Card Account will count toward the Purchase Requirement. Delta reserves the right to revoke Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access if you return, reverse or charge back eligible purchases in a way that reduces your eligible spend below the Purchase Requirement for the calendar year. If Delta and/or American Express determine that you have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this Delta Sky Club Access Benefit in any way or that you intend to do so, Visits may be deducted from your account and/or Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access revoked.

Eligible Platinum Card Members must present their valid American Express Card, government-issued I.D., and boarding pass for entry. Boarding pass must show a reservation for a same-day Delta-operated flight (Delta or Delta connection) or Delta-marketed flight operated by WestJet (ticket number starting with 006) departing from or arriving at the airport in which Delta Sky Club or Grab and Go is located. Eligible Platinum Card Members traveling with Delta Main Basic (Basic Economy) fare tickets do not have access to this benefit. Name on boarding pass must match name on the Card. Eligible Platinum Card Members on departing flights can only access Delta Sky Club or Grab and Go within 3 hours of their flight's scheduled departure time or any time during a layover. Delta reserves the right to limit access for non-revenue flyers at any Delta Sky Club. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to access Delta Sky Club, and 21 years of age to access locations with a self-service bar, unless accompanied by a responsible, supervising adult who has access to Delta Sky Club. 12 $600 Hotel Credit
Basic Card Members on U.S. Business Platinum Card Accounts (“Card Account”) are eligible to receive up to $600 in statement credits per calendar year when they or eligible Employee Card Members on the Card Account use their Cards to pay for eligible prepaid Fine Hotels + Resorts® and The Hotel Collection bookings made through American Express Travel (meaning through amextravel.com, the Amex Travel App™, the Amex® App, or by calling the phone number on the back of their eligible Card). Purchases by both the Basic Card Member and any Employee Card Members on the Card Account are eligible for statement credits. The total amount of statement credits for eligible purchases will not exceed $300 semi-annually for a total of up to $600 per calendar year in statement credits across all Cards on the Card Account. Each semi-annual eligibility period is defined as January to June and July to December. Starting on September 18, 2025, customers will have $300 available for use, expiring on December 31, 2025. Fine Hotels + Resorts® program bookings may be made only by eligible U.S. Business Basic and Employee Business Platinum Card Members. The Hotel Collection bookings may be made by eligible U.S. Business Basic and Employee Business Platinum and Employee Business Expense Card Members. To receive the statement credits, an eligible Card Member must make a new booking using their eligible Card through American Express Travel on or after September 18, 2025, that is prepaid, for a qualifying stay at an available, participating Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection property. Bookings of The Hotel Collection require a minimum stay of two consecutive nights. Eligible bookings must be processed within the eligibility period to be eligible for statement credits within that period. Eligible bookings do not include interest charges, cancellation fees, property fees or other similar fees, or any charges by a property to you (whether for your booking, your stay or otherwise).

Statement credits are typically received within a few days, however it may take 90 days after an eligible prepaid hotel booking is charged to the Card Account. American Express relies on the merchant’s processing of transactions to determine the transaction date. If there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction to us or if the merchant uses another date as the transaction date, then your purchase may not earn the statement credit benefit for the benefit period in which you made the purchase. For example, if an eligible purchase is made on December 31 but the merchant processes the transaction such that it is identified to us as occurring on January 1, then the statement credit available in the next eligibility period will be applied, if available. If you have transferred to a different Card at the time the merchant submits the transaction, you may not receive the statement credit. Statement credit(s) may not be received or may be reversed if the booking is refunded, cancelled, or modified. If the Card Account is cancelled or past due, it may not qualify to receive a statement credit. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as eligible, you will not receive the statement credits. For example, your transaction will not be eligible if it is a booking: (i) made with a property not included in the Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection programs, (ii) not made through American Express Travel, or (iii) not made with an eligible Card. Participating properties and their availability are subject to change. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide, and may reverse, any statement credits provided to you. If a charge for an eligible purchase is included in a Pay Over Time balance on your Card Account, the statement credit associated with that charge may not be applied to that Pay Over Time balance. Instead, the statement credit may be applied to your Pay In Full balance. Please refer to AmericanExpress.com/FHR and AmericanExpress.com/HC for more information about Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection, respectively.

13 Fee Credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck®
The benefit is available to (i) Corporate Gold Card Members, (ii) Consumer Platinum Card® Members, Corporate Platinum Card® Members and Business Platinum Card® Members, and (iii) Centurion® Card Members. The benefit is also available to all Additional Card Members on Consumer and Business Platinum Accounts, and all Additional Card Members on Consumer and Business Centurion Accounts. To receive the Global Entry statement credit of $120 or the TSA PreCheck statement credit of up to $85, Basic or Additional Card Members on the eligible Card Account must pay for the respective application fee through a TSA PreCheck official enrollment provider with their eligible Card. Basic Card Members are eligible to receive a statement credit every 4.5 years for the TSA PreCheck® application fee (when applying through a TSA official enrollment provider) and every 4 years for the Global Entry application fee, in each case when charged to the Basic Card or any eligible Additional Cards on the eligible Card Account. Basic Card Members will receive a statement credit for the first program (either Global Entry or TSA PreCheck) to which they or their eligible Additional Cards apply and pay for with their eligible Card regardless of whether they are approved for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck. However, eligible Card Members can earn no more than one credit for up to $85 for TSA PreCheck or $120 credit for Global Entry (but not both programs), depending upon the program the Card Member first applies for, for an application fee charged to an eligible Card. American Express has no control over the application and/or approval process for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck, and does not have access to any information provided to the government by the Card Member or by the government to the Card Member. American Express has no liability regarding the Global Entry or TSA PreCheck Programs. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) (for Global Entry) and U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) (for TSA PreCheck) charge an application fee to process each respective application regardless of whether the Card Member's application is approved. The Department of Homeland Security may suspend acceptance of applications on any basis at its discretion. American Express will provide a statement credit for the application fee regardless of the decision made by CBP (for Global Entry) or TSA (for TSA PreCheck) but will not provide a statement credit for subsequent application fees charged to the same eligible Card within 4 years (for Global Entry) or 4.5 years (for TSA PreCheck), even if the original application is rejected.

Membership for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck is per person, and a separate application must be completed for each individual. TSA PreCheck application must be processed through a TSA official enrollment provider. Global Entry membership also includes access to the TSA PreCheck program with no additional application or fee required. For additional information on the Global Entry or TSA PreCheck programs, including information regarding the application and/or approval process and for a list of participating airlines and airports, as well as the full terms and conditions of the programs, please go to www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry for Global Entry and www.tsa.gov for TSA PreCheck. The Global Entry or TSA PreCheck programs are subject to change, and American Express has no control over those changes.
The statement credit benefit applies to the Global Entry or TSA PreCheck programs only. Other program applications including, but not limited to, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST, and Privium are not eligible for the statement credit benefit.

Please allow up to 8 weeks after the qualifying Global Entry or TSA PreCheck transaction is charged to the eligible Card account for the statement credit to be posted to the Card account. American Express relies on accurate transaction data to identify eligible Global Entry and TSA PreCheck purchases. The transaction date may differ from the date you made the purchase if, for example, there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction to us or if the merchant uses another date as the transaction date. This means that in some cases your purchase may not earn the statement credit benefit for the benefit period in which you made the purchase. If you do not see a credit for a qualifying purchase on your eligible Card after 8 weeks, simply call the number on the back of your Card. Card Members are responsible for payment of all application charges until the statement credit posts to the Card Account. Statement credits may be reversed if an eligible purchase is returned/cancelled. If you have transferred to a different Card at the time the merchant submits the transaction, you may not receive the statement credit.

To be eligible for this benefit, the Card Account must not be cancelled and not past due at the time of statement credits fulfillment. If American Express, in it's sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide statement credits and may reverse any statement credits provided to you. If a charge for an eligible purchase is included in a Pay Over Time feature balance on your Card Account, the statement credit associated with that charge may not be applied to that Pay Over Time feature balance. Instead, the statement credit may be applied to your Pay In Full balance. For additional information, call the number on the back of your Card.

14 $1,200 Amex Travel Online Flight Statement Credit
Basic Card Members on a U.S. Business Platinum Card Account (“Card Account”) who make $250,000 in eligible purchases in a calendar year (“$250,000 Purchase Requirement”) are eligible to receive up to $1,200 in Amex Travel Online Flight Statement Credits in the following calendar year after they use their Card Account to pay for eligible flights booked on Amextravel.com or the Amex Travel App™ between January 1 and  December 31 of the following calendar year (“Active Credit Window”). Card Members must charge the flight(s) to the Business Platinum Card® Account that has met the $250,000 Purchase Requirement (“Qualified Card Account”) to be eligible for the statement credits. Any prepaid airline or cabin class is eligible for the statement credits. The total amount of statement credits for eligible flight purchases will not exceed $1,200 per calendar year, per Qualified Card Account.  Enrollment is not required.  Eligible purchases made by Card Members starting January 1, 2025, will count toward the $250,000 Purchase Requirement for the 2025 calendar year.

Eligible purchases to meet the $250,000 Purchase Requirement are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, or other cash equivalents. If a Card Member upgrades or downgrades from a different American Express Card to a Business Platinum Card, eligible purchases made on their previous Card during the current calendar year will count toward meeting the $250,000 Purchase Requirement on the new Business Platinum Card. Eligible purchases made by any Employee Card Members on the Business Platinum Account will contribute to the $250,000 Purchase Requirement. Basic Card Members can track their progress towards the current year $250,000 Purchase Requirement in the Benefits tab of their online Card Account and in the American Express App. Card Members will unlock both the $1,200 Amex Travel Online Flight Statement Credit and the $2,400 American Express One AP® Credit by satisfying the $250,000 Purchase Requirement a single time in a calendar year.

Statement credits are typically reflected on your Card Account within a few days of the corresponding charge posting, however it may take up to 90 days after an eligible purchase is charged to the Card Account for the statement credits to be reflected on your Card Account. American Express relies on the merchant's processing of transactions to determine the transaction date. The transaction date may differ from the date you made the purchase if, for example, there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction to us or if the merchant uses another date as the transaction date. This means purchases made too close to the close of the year may not be dated within the Active Credit Window. For example, if an eligible purchase is made on December 31, but the merchant processes the transaction such that it is identified to us as occurring on January 1, then your statement credit will not be applied to that Active Credit Window. Statement credits may not be received or may be reversed if the booking is cancelled or modified. If the Card Account is cancelled or past due, it may not qualify to receive a statement credit. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as eligible, you will not receive the statement credits. For example, your transaction will not be eligible if it is a booking: (i) made directly with the airline, (ii) not made through American Express Travel online, or (iii) not made with the Qualified Card Account. Eligible travel purchases include scheduled flights made online on AmexTravel.com or in the Amex Travel App, minus returns and other credits. Incidental fees paid directly to the airline (such as refreshment charges paid not on Amextravel.com) will not be credited back. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide and may reverse any statement credits provided to you. If a charge for an eligible purchase is included in a Pay Over Time balance on your Card Account, the statement credit associated with that charge may not be applied to that Pay Over Time balance. Instead, the statement credit may be applied to your Pay In Full balance.

15 $2,400 American Express One AP® Statement Credit
Basic Card Members on a U.S. Business Platinum Card Account (“Card Account”) who make $250,000 in eligible purchases in a calendar year (“$250,000 Purchase Requirement”)  are eligible to receive up to $2,400 in statement credits on their Business Platinum Card Account in the following calendar year when they use their Card Account to pay for American Express One AP® fees between January 1 and  December 31 of the following calendar year (“Active Credit Window”).  Eligible purchases made by Card Members starting January 1 2025 will count toward the $250,000 Purchase Requirement for the 2025 calendar year.  A Card Account that has satisfied the $250,000 Purchase Requirement is considered a “Qualified Card Account”. Card Members must separately request and be approved for a One AP account in order to use the service, and the Company that is responsible for One AP fees must be the same as the Company associated with the Card Account.

An eligible Card Member’s One AP statement credits will be applied to their Card Account billing statement against any (i) then-applicable platform access fees, (ii) applicable transaction fees associated with their One AP usage, and/or (iii) applicable taxes, in each case as charged to the Qualified Card Account. The platform access fee will automatically renew each month, unless the service is canceled or all additional payments methods are deactivated, as applicable. To learn more about One AP’s cancellation deadlines and requirements, please see the One AP terms and conditions below. One AP bills in arrears, meaning in order to utilize the full $2,400 One AP Credit in any Active Credit Window, you may need to incur One AP fees charged to your Qualified Card Account in December of the year in which you first meet the $250,000 Purchase Requirement. Each Card Account may only earn a total of $2,400 in credits per calendar year. Enrollment in the statement credit on your American Express Online Account is not required for the One AP Credit, however, you must request and be approved for a One AP account and the Qualified Card Account must be the account to which your One AP fees are billed. If you need to change the Card being billed, you must call 1-844-358-4025. See https://www.americanexpress.com/oneap-getstarted to learn more and find out how to request a One AP account.  American Express One AP® ACH may not be available to all customers.

Non-card transactions (check, ACH) are not eligible purchases. Card Members can track their progress towards the current year $250,000 Purchase Requirement in the Benefits tab of their online Card Account and in the American Express App. Your status tracker will reflect your posted transactions, net of returns, up to the $250,000 mark. Card Members will unlock both the $1,200 Amextravel.com Flights Credit and the $2,400 American Express One AP® Credit by satisfying the Purchase Requirement a single time in a given calendar year.

Statement credits are typically reflected on your Card Account within a few days of the corresponding charge posting, however it may take 90 days after an eligible transaction is charged to the Card Account for the statement credits to be reflected on your Card Account. Statement credits may not be received or may be reversed if the One AP fee is refunded. If the Card Account is cancelled or past due, it may not qualify to receive a statement credit. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as eligible, you will not receive the statement credits. For example, your transaction will not be eligible if One AP fees are billed to a card other than your Qualified Card Account.

American Express One AP® may not be available to all customers. To access the service, all customers will be required to enroll their eligible U.S.-issued American Express® Business, Corporate, or Corporate Purchasing Card. There is no fee to use the service for customers electing to process only Card payments. Use of additional payment methods requires activation through an American Express® Specialist and a monthly platform access fee of $200 which will automatically renew each month, unless the service is cancelled or all additional payments methods are deactivated, as applicable. If additional payment methods are being used, with the monthly platform access fee, to the extent used, the first 400 check transactions and first 400 automated ACH transactions each month are complimentary, after which point a fee of $1.00 per check and $0.35 per automated ACH transaction will apply. Fees are subject to change. Sales tax on fees may apply. All fees associated with American Express One AP® will be auto-billed monthly in arrears to the first Card enrolled for the service. The monthly platform access fee will be charged starting in the month in which the customer first uses an additional payment method and will not be pro-rated; the full monthly platform access fee will be charged regardless of when in the month a customer activates and first uses an additional payment method. Customers may cancel the service or activate/deactivate additional payment methods by contacting their American Express® Specialist. The customer will be charged the full monthly platform access fee (and any applicable transaction fees and taxes) for the month in which the service is cancelled (or all additional payment methods are deactivated), with continued access to the service for the thirty days following the cancellation date.  Customer must cancel by 5:00 PM ET on the last business day of the month to avoid being charged the platform access fee for the following month. To make a Card payment to a supplier through the service, the supplier must be an American Express-accepting merchant. To learn more, please contact your American Express® Specialist.
